Thank you for registering for the Tug Hill Commission’s 2026 Local Government Conference being held at Turning Stone Conference Center, 5218 Patrick Road, Verona, New York 13478. We look forward to seeing you very soon!
Please take advantage of the free parking in the parking garage. It is the most convenient way to access the conference center – plus it’s indoors! Valet parking is also available for $7 at the main hotel entrance.
As you enter the building after parking in the garage and head towards the rotunda, staff will be there to welcome you and to help you find your way to the registration table and our gathering space in Oneida/Mohawk. All meals, breaks, raffles, and exhibitor stations will be in Oneida/Mohawk, with the registration table just outside Oneida/Mohawk. A parking map is included below.
- If you have registered for the focused session, Planning for Growth, on Monday, April 20, check-in begins at 12:30 p.m. at the main registration table outside Oneida/Mohawk. This session goes from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- If you have registered for the reception on Monday, it will be held in Oneida/Mohawk from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please stop by the registration table to get your name tag, which is your admission ticket into the reception.
- The full day of training on Tuesday, April 21 begins with check-in and breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in Oneida/Mohawk. Opening remarks will be made at 8:30 a.m. and concurrent sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be served from noon to 1:15 p.m. and the day will conclude by 4:30 p.m.
- A note specifically for assessors regarding continuing education (CE) credits on Tuesday, April 21. You will receive one CE credit if you attend only one of the sessions listed below. You will receive three CE credits if you attend both sessions listed below:
- Session 3B in Cayuga from 1:15 pm to 2:45 pm – ASSESSORS PART 1: The Assessors Office: What Elected Officials Need to Know with Rob Bick, Town of Clay
- Session 4B in Canandaigua from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm – ASSESSORS PART 2: To Reval or Not to Reval: How to Decide with Warren Wheeler, NYS Assessors Association
