Winter Wildlife Webinar Series Part 4: Spring Raptor Migration Along Lake Ontario

This webinar will highlight the raptor migration counts at sites along Lake Ontario like Braddock Bay and Derby Hill, the importance of raptor populations as an environmental barometer, the challenges and threats our native raptor species face and which populations are in decline, and previous conservation challenges and victories such as raptor recovery and DDT. Most importantly, the presentation will focus on several distinct migratory species, some identification tips, ways for people to get out and see the raptor migration in person, and how interested parties can get involved with hawkwatch sites and other resources.

Don’t miss the chance to learn more about these raptor species and conservation in the Lake Ontario region!
